Love the tune

Sounds like a game over song, like when the counter is going down from 10 and the hero is half dead or crying. Or it could also make a nice cutscene for an emotional event.

Do you mind if I have the zipped Fruity Loops file of this? I want to add a little bass to it and a bit of percussion. I wouldn't put it up without your permission, infact I probably would just do it for fun.

Basicly super drummer was right. It's lovely, yet empty. A littl emore time on this and it could have been longer and more interesting.

Keep on keepin' on!!

1st pargraph responce: Yep, used for sad scenes in Paper Mario on the cube. Most of which are whith Admiral Bobbdy- no Bobbery- no Blobbery, ah sod it! But this used for his death bed scene. (even though he wakes up after a quick hammer wack)

2nd Paragraph: Sure fine! Or would you prefere the origional MIDI?

3rd Paragraph: *Sigh* There was only so much I could do with this song...

Keep it up!

I'll take their word on it.

This is a bit more original, and more interesting. The sounds mix together better. Still that same Chao_Guy feeling though.

Chao-Guy responds:

"Chao_Guy feeling"? Oh, you mean "amature feeling", its easy to mix them up, lol ^_^

Glad you like it,
Keep it up!

I didn't notice that much of a difference

It is however more original, diverse, and clear than your first pieces.

Chao-Guy responds:

Oogie: Guess it shows how much he's improved, don't it!
C_G: What the hell are you doing!!
Oogie: GAH!
C_G: A four....well, ok! Thanks to Diabl@ at Pumpkinpatch.net for the MIDI.
Oogie: Hail to me!!
C_G: SHUT IT! Anyway, keep it up!

Too low? Well turn up the volume!

I just put the volume up. I always seem to have plenty of space to raise the volume more. This was not that interesting of a song, and it didn't feel like an army to me. Well...a little, it felt like an army in space....which I just can't see so-

The beat was nice, especially in the beggining. The synths started good too, I just don't know...it seems to be lacking "something".

Chao-Guy responds:

I know, heres the story:
General Guy is the protecter of a giant toy box called (surprise) Shy Guy's Toy Box. Likewise, his theme is 1/2 army like and 1/2 party like, which is really difficult to put into the song. If you heard the origional, you would know what I mean. May do this again...

Thanks to: Mitch Vega, Koji Kondo, Taishi Senda, and Yuka Tsujiyoko; who were involved in the composing and/or sequencing from VGMusic.com

Thats all!

Keep it up!

OOOOOh

You appeal to the mario fans. I too love this song and would love any remix of it. It's too easy when you remix already great songs, so stop doing that you cheater!!

Lol, just kidding.

Some sounds didn't fit and clarity wasn't too good because I wasn't able to tell what song it was until a good ways into the song.

Despite-

Keep on keepin' on!

Chao-Guy responds:

Thanks, I was worried about the pitch in this song, as well as that looong note. I tryed to use some different notes so as to compensate for the lack of drums or to dull the insainly high pitch!

Thanks

Keep it up!

HOOOT!

This makes me think of kungfu fighters dancing to the beat. You know how on video games the characters now hop around in a defensive stance, I can see that. This also makes me think of megaman, probably because of the hits. I love the hits, it's full of energy. The bass is hot too I just can't tell you how much I love this song.

By the way, NICE RHYTHM!!!

5'ed and downloaded.

Keep on keepin' on!

avl1991 responds:

ol, cool. Well, I was pissed when i did this song. I had a bad day. So, I let it out on this. And this is what you got. And I can make alot better, with practice...

LOL

Oh my gosh. I don't want to sound mean, but it sounds like you just randomly put together a bunch of drum beat samples. I used Fruity Loops before and those sounds are samples to help you out, and you sorta just mixed them together. Don't get me wrong, these are really hot sounds, but I think you could have put just an ity bit more effort into this. It's hot nonetheless.

Keep on keepin' on!

avl1991 responds:

Meh... Just like When i made another song for SONY ACID... Lol. Meh... Well, Meh... Lol. I guess ur right. lol. I coulda done better, but guess what... Lol... i was so bored, I could've cared less... Man... Talk about bored. and all this useless rambling...

Solo Trance

It's like trance, or techno. It's hot for a neat adventure game, such as thing thing arena or something of the likes. It's not quite as great as I would expect from 4 weeks of obsession though. There are alot of different ideas in there though, but one theme pretty much. I can tell you put alot of effort into it.

Keep on keepin' on!

Syntrus responds:

thx man i will

But not even this song is worthy of your name.

This has your style written all over. It reminds me of the first of your songs that I've heard. It gets me thinking about heroes on the battle front duking it out for their Kingdom.

Since it's your Requiem, I'll give it a 10/10 although normally I'd give it a 9.5/10. You still could have done a tinsy bit more to make it sound different than your past works. But that doesn't really matter, that's just why I didn't give u 10 originality.

Keep on keepin' on!

MaestroSorrow responds:

I probably could have Rythim_Man, i'm not going to sit here and say "This is AS GROOD AS ITT GLETS!"

No, no song is perfect, and no song can cause a monoply. This was all in my earlier style, because I didn't just stop submitting Rythim_Man, I also felt like I had killed a part of myself that day. It is not easy, but was necessary, so that I may live once again. Thanks for the review Rythim_Man, means a lot to me.

Good background music.

Yes, I can definately see this in the menu of a shooting or sci-fi game. If I were a falsh artist I'd use it...too bad I can't do flash worth crap huh?

Very easy to listen to.

Syntrus responds:

this was used in one flash i thought it was pretty neat thx for the review

Yea...I'm here. One of the few folks who come for the audio.
