That Was Hot!

OMG that was so freakin' awesome.

"This should be played at high volume; preferably in a residential area."

This must be the first audio I ever rated a 10 on!

Para-Noid responds:

OH YEA. Thankz. can do vote 5

Oh yea!

This makes a hot boss battle music. That's all I have to say. (And we all love boss battle music, except for that crap with the organ, but this one isn't like that).

Para-Noid responds:

yup

OOOOOO WOW

This is like....real good.

I'm glad I know you. This makes a hot background for underground activity on Newgrounds

Mynewaccountis-OCON responds:

This has to be one of the best ideas ever.

What I see is a great idea. I love the feeling, however, might I suggest more instruments:

Don't be afraid, but I can hear pizzicato strings (oh those are hot) playing to the beat, dancing the waltz. Now the strings are coming in. They are so expressive, they are wailing to the sad song. Only making the piano sadder. Oh, the flute, it's voice is so soft. It is telling the sad story. ALl is silent and listening to the piano solo...it is abrupt...it is not sweet at all, but it is not angry... it has lost it's life. It has loss the will to live, it died.

So those are how the instruments should be...ofcourse, I like this too, don't follow what other people say too much. Make it your own, though consider my suggestions as well.

And I know you said piano solo, but you can still make a "remix".

Well, I can tell it's you're first >_<

I would imagine it would be terribly difficult for a trumpet to play that song. Not impossible but, the trumpeter stuck playing it would want to kill the composer. I don't really play trumpet, but I have picked it up.

You probably need a more interesting solo or more instruments. The rhythm, most of all, needs to be alittle more interesting than just quarter notes and eighth notes (or is it 16th notes and 8th notes, whatever).

I won't bother you though, your other works are much better. You use finale? Which version (I really hope 2005 because we could do some superb collab if you had that). I think that's cool because everything except maybe 3 or 4 of mine is made with Allegro (kinda like Finale's cousin).

and YES!! I finally rated one of yours that Maestro hasn't rated yet!!!!!!

Harddrive100 responds:

Sorry I haven't responded sooner...I didn't expect people would still listen to this piece of [insert profanity here]. lol. As a matter of fact, I play trumpet too! I, having played for 8 years (over half my life, I know realise) can play this. It was hard, though. lol. Very hard.

What they said.

I say, variations are fun. I love to do them myself. And sometimes, playing the same thing over again, describes life best. Good work man!

I know how difficult variations can get after a while, so I'm pumpin ur effort all the way up.

Harddrive100 responds:

Can't think of much to say, after writing so many responses to reviews pretty similar. Thanks for the review and the high score!

It gains in some points, and takes away in others.

Yes I know how making a remix is, it's very difficult to add to one point without taking from another. Some times the more diverse, the less clear. Sometimes the more dynamic, the more that can go wrong. It's real tough! you did ok though, I wouldn't say the first was better, I would only say they are different. Perhaps this could be used in a sequel of the flash that uses your first.

Which reminds me, that it is a good idea for a flash artist to use this type of song to depict war [as a bad thing]. A true visionary can make one of the best flash in the world with this. And I truely believe it.

Harddrive100 responds:

Wow. You're not the first one to mention how my songs can be used in a flash. Although it's nice if people do use my songs, that's not why I'm uploading. I'm uploading, so I can become a better composer through other people's advice. Thanks for the high rating. I know this takes away from some points of the original. If I had the chance again, I probably wouldn't have uploaded this one.

Wow Maestro

He basicly said enough reviews for ten people, and thus I have nothing more to say than, keep up the good work, you got talent. Ya just need to polish it now. Your stuff is the most original I have ever heard. And they appear to take alot of time and effort to make. You inspire me, from now on, I put nothing but one hundred percent into my songs!

Harddrive100 responds:

Wow! I inspire people! That's new! Normally, I demoralize people! lol. I know MaestroSorrow steals everyone's ideas for reviews...don't worry about it. lol. (it's all in fun, maestro :D). Thanks for the high rating and the kind words. I look forward to reading your reviews in the future.

This was great

You know, I saw a low rating and didn't want to check it out but I'm glad I did because it is much better than the ratings say. What program do you use to make this. I think the only reason why people didn't rate this high is because it didn't have the smooth sounding sound fonts that everyone else cares so much about. But that's like caring about the graphics and not about the gameplay.

You must tell me how you do this, and what program you use. Please go to my profile and message me, or you could just write to Rythiman@hotmail.com

This song tells a story, it would actualy make a great intro to a game or a movie!

Harddrive100 responds:

Thanks a lot for the high rating. I used Finale PrintMusic for this. I'm getting into FL Studios now, and I'm very excited about that. How I did this? I'm not quite sure what you mean by that....I just....did it. lol.

That's What's Hot.

This is one of my favorites, it's pretty good for an "attempt". Ok, I'm going to go dance now, later!

Oh one thing though, and I kinda hate saying this cuz I do it too, but when u mixed them all at the end, kinda got out of hand.

Mynewaccountis-OCON responds:

Damn this is old lol

Yea...I'm here. One of the few folks who come for the audio.
